In St. Petersburg, the increase in the cost of renting small-sized housing amounted to 17.6%, while the average price reached 32,415 rubles per month. For comparison, the growth in Moscow was 26.4% (53,684 rubles), and in the Moscow region - 32.3% (33,380 rubles).

The cost of renting small-sized housing increased most significantly in Chita (+86.4%), Tver (+75.4%) and Novokuznetsk (+71.6%).
At the same time, experts note a significant increase in the supply of one-room apartments on the rental market, which increased by 75%. Owners of investment apartments who previously invested for resale are choosing to rent out their property in the current market situation.
Experts note that the main price jump has already occurred, and a more moderate increase in small-area rental rates is expected this year.
