The Savings Bank clarified that 763 billion rubles of loans were issued to Russians in June, while more than half of the amount was for mortgages. Net profit last month amounted to 140.3 billion (+1.1% year-on-year).
In the first half of the year, Sberbank's net interest income increased by 16.9% to 1.244 trillion rubles, and net commission income increased by 9.7% to 353.8 billion.
Recall that on the eve of the BEAC announced an increase in rates on a number of deposits. Prior to that, mortgages had risen in price at the credit institution.
