There are not enough midwives in the Ivanovo region, despite a decrease in the birth rate. Over the year, the number of job offers in this field has increased by 108%. Midwives have become scarce in the region.
According to the Headhunter portal, there are 0.4 resumes per vacancy. At the same time, the average salary level in the region for the profession of "obstetrician" is 72,000 rubles, the website "news1ivanovo" reports.
