Investigators have established that in February of this year, the husband and wife decided to buy a newborn and began searching for a seller. They found a pregnant woman who was in the country illegally and offered to buy the baby from her.
Next, the couple found a private clinic in Shchelkovo and a doctor who promised to help with childbirth and paperwork for a baby for 150,000 rubles.

After that, the doctor gave the child's biological mother a medicine to stimulate premature birth and called a medical team, providing false information about the woman in labor and providing the buyer's passport.
Upon discharge from the hospital, the baby was handed over to new parents, and the biological mother received a monetary reward from them.
Law enforcement officers found out about the incident and detained all the participants in the criminal scheme. The newborn was temporarily hospitalized, the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Moscow region reports.
Recall that the court handed down a verdict for fraud involving the theft of real estate in the Moscow region for many millions of rubles.
